What I like most was the honest emotion experienced and displayed by all the characters in response to realistic circumstances. Sophie is likable, strong, and persevering; a character I could easily route for. I hurt along with her when she endured gut-wrenching heartache, was deeply frustrated at how she was betrayed by those she loved, and relieved when she found her bliss.

well written love story TL. Made me happy, sad the over joy. so glad when true love can rekindle after so long apart.
It’s great to read a love story that hits home. The characters are real and they inspired real emotion as I read about their lives. I was totally vested in the outcome. So glad I took a chance on a new author.
I enjoyed TL Clark's Rekindled Love. It’s a story about teens in love, and the trials and tribulations they endure as the years pass…many, many years. The writing is good and the characters, Sophie and Joe walk a path that is filled with love, heartache, romance, and devastation. You hope for the best for these two. Some steamy scenes.
Sophie and Joe are childhood sweethearts. Torn apart by her family moving to a different part of the country, Sophie finds herself having to forget Joe and find new friends which she doesn't do too well. We follow Sophie through her growing years, marriage, children and loss. Can love blossom again when you have lost the love of your life? Read the book to find out.
I do feel this book would be all the better with another edit.
I like this author more and more. Rekindled Love was an absolutely lovely story. Sophie came across as very real to me - just what I want in a contemporary romance. I felt the joy, the love, and the heartache of her story, and the sense of satisfaction a good book always brings when I read the final page. Well done, Ms Clark!

Albeit a totally different setting and time (Newcastle?) than the hit song depicts, shortly after I began reading Rekindled Love, the lyrics from John Mellencamp's "Jack and Diane" came to mind and is still playing in my mental jukebox as I write this review.

As teenagers in love, Sophie and Joe believe their future will be all sunshine and roses, but when they are separated because of Sophie's father moving his business up north, their lives unravel, Especially Sophie's who endures more pain than the human spirit should ever have to go through.
